Grange Hall Elementary School is located in western Chesterfield County. It's rural. Farmland and open fields are plentiful if you keep driving just past the school. And if you're on the playground and real quiet, you may just hear the roar of the lions or the cackle of the monkeys from the zoo just behind it.
We are in the beginning stages of joining the green schoolyard movement, bringing gardens and the many hands-on lessons they provide children back into our classrooms.
Our school began its gardening program in 2012 with one garden on the edge of the Kindergarten playground. Watch it grow with us!
